The Women’s Inter-cultural Exchange announces the Multi-Cultural Women’s Conference

Charlotte, NC - September 14, 2011- The Women’s Inter-cultural Exchange (WIE) announces the annual Multi-Cultural Women’s Conference “Bridging the Chasm: Changing the World”, a town hall meeting featuring research on the status of women. Keynote speaker will be Katherine Giscombe, Ph.D., Vice President of Diverse Women and Inclusion Research, Catalyst, Inc.   The conference will be held at Queens University Athletic Complex on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 from 7:30 am until 2 pm.

Giscombe will present the latest research from Catalyst’s recent study, “Building Trust between Managers and Diverse Women Direct Reports”. A panel discussion of multi-cultural corporate and community leaders will present up to the minute data on the status of women in Charlotte and the surround area. Tickets are $85.00.
